About Gombe State Government Due Process Office
Public Procurement Bureau called Due Process Office was established on January, 2008 through Executive approval. The office kick started around 1st February, 2008 by appointing Mr. Edward L. Adamu as the pioneer Head and Senior Special Assistant to His Excellency on Due Process to man the affairs of the office.
The pioneer Heads of the Office are as follows:
1. Mr. Edward L. Adamu (Senior Special Assistant) Jan, 2008-June, 2010
2. Mr. James Mele Difa (Acting Head) June, 2010-Oct, 2011.
3. Mohammed Ahmed Usman (Sen. Spec. Assistant) Oct, 2011-June,2015.
4. Mohammed Ahmed Usman (Head of Due Process) Oct, 2015-Aug, 2017.
5. Engr. Abubakar Bappa Musa (Special Adviser)Feb,2018-Aug,2018.
6. Alhassan Aliyu Deba (Acting Head) Aug, 2018-Nov, 2019.
7. Babayola Mohammed Isa (Director General) Nov, 2019- Date.
The establishment of Council on Public Procurement and Gombe State Public Procurement Bureau (Due Process Bureau) was passed into Law by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Gombe State Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya on the 31st December, 2019 titled “GOMBE STATE COUNCIL ON PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AND PUBLIC PROCUREMENT BUREAU LAW”.
